Almond tree: A medium to large, fast-growing tree, it reaches a height of 25–40 meters. It has large, oval leaves that turn dark red before falling. Its fruits are red when ripe and edible.
Habitat and distribution:
Bajli almonds are named after the Bajila region south of Taif in Saudi Arabia, where they are widely grown. They are also grown in other regions, such as Al Bahah, Asir, and some tropical and subtropical regions around the world.
